My house has really good water pressure - and I mean REALLY good water pressure. I installed a new Moen showerhead in my shower and it pumps water like a hydrant. Of course, Moen states that the maximum flow rate is 2.5 GPM and this is because of regulations. However, my water bill was going up, so I figured I had to do something about it. So I bought this valve and installed it. Before installing I measured 2.25 GPM coming out of the shower head and after installing I lowered it to 1.25 GPM and I still have good water flow for showering. This valve can do no wrong to save water and money at the same time. Very worth the little money I'll have to recoup in a few months.
