I used it to insulate my pellet grill. I was very surprised at how soft the material is! It's so soft you could sleep on it. To be honest, when I opened it I was surprised by the quality. Way better than any other welding blanket I've ever seen and I'm a welder by trade so I use it all the time. The thickness of the material is about 1/4 inch. Boss 1000SC. I didn't even have to cut it. I have noticed that the temperature difference remains more stable and the pellet consumption is lower. Winter use is a game changer as I use my grill every week throughout the year. Pellets aren't cheap, they save me money and pay for themselves in less than a year! Would buy it again without hesitation! 1/3 of the purchase price of the manufacturer reference and best quality!
