Review on 🚗 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Horsepower for 1999-2002 Ford Crown Victoria 4.6L V8 (57-2544) by Devin Maselli

I recently purchased this K&N product and installed it on my car. For a while I thought this was a "fun" potential upgrade, but the price has me stumped. Well I got it for a reasonable price and I should be happy with the results. There's definitely more room for pants in the car, and the extra intake noise is a treat too. At normal throttle setting it is almost imperceptible. So far, in my opinion, no negative compromises. Installation is fairly straightforward, although the instructions incorrectly state "with included hardware" where you're actually using existing hardware to mount multiple components. It set me back a bit. Also, the radiator shroud screw is not long enough to install the front mounting bracket. However, a trip to the hardware store for a longer 8mm cap screw solved the problem. Overall a good kit and makes my 2000 HPP machine more fun.
