Bought for relaying a Wi-Fi network to the 1st floor from a router installed on the 2nd floor (06/18/2022, seller - ONLINETRADE. RU). Both the router and the repeater are installed near the stairs and therefore are almost in line of sight; the distance between them is about 9 meters. The router distributes 2 networks: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Initially, I planned to relay only the 2.4 GHz network (necessary for smart home devices that do not always take the network through the floor). When you first start the repeater, a quick setup is offered, in which you can select a network for relaying - but only one (I chose 2.4 GHz). After entering the password, the repeater reported that everything went well, but for some reason it began to broadcast 2 networks at once (1 screenshot). At the same time, there was no Internet in either one or the other. In my personal account it looked like this (2 screenshot). Empirically, I found out that this error can only be corrected by connecting the repeater to both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks at the same time (1 point of disadvantages). If you connect to only one, it will not work. But I was lucky with a dual-band router, so I used this repeater for 1.5 months without problems (it worked stably and without complaints). After 44 days of work after rebooting the router (namely, the router, not the repeater! ) The repeater stopped working normally again. In my account - the same error as on the first day (2nd screenshot). Having tried to reconfigure it, I found out that it stopped seeing my 5 GHz network (it sees 2.4 GHz). It finds several other 5 GHz networks, but it does not see this particular one even close to the source (although before that it had successfully relayed it for 44 days). At the same time, all other devices (computer, phone) see both networks and work normally with them. The problem is not solved by any means available to me (reboot, reset, firmware ate, reconfiguration, antenna rotation). Obviously, now this repeater is completely useless as a repeater. I did not try to use it as an access point, but I do not need it.
