It got bad reviews but I thought it was worth it for the money. If I found it didn't fit, I could always return it. I needed a spare wheel mount for a rowboat trailer. I usually keep the trailer in the garage so constant exposure to the elements is not an issue in terms of rust. Installation was easy, the tire is securely attached. We traveled several hours to tow the boat and the bracket held up well. The only reason I splice a star is because the welds look like crap. I'm no welder but they look like smeared toothpaste that has been powder coated. They literally look like someone took a knife and smeared peanut butter on their joints. I'm pretty sure a beginner could weld better than these. However, the mount feels solid, so I won't be returning it. If that fails in a few months or a year, the cost of a couple of Fraucinos won't be enough for me.
