I bought this after returning a similar product that actually cost a few dollars more, and yet which had proved wildly inaccurate. This unit is very, very compact. It comes with readable directions and it is fairly accurate. This is the one to get if one is interested in something handy and small, and does not want to upgrade to larger units that will require larger batteries, e.g., 9 volt or two AA.
- Like it. Easy to use. Put it away so as to not lose it, can't find it. Buying another.
- The measurement range is limited to temperatures between 14℉ and 113℉, making it less useful for extreme environments
