Let's just say I've been English for over 30 years --- so I've used tons of devices. There are a few things to note that are unclear: When you receive this meter it comes with a 9V battery but it is not connected. You need to unscrew the screws on the back and flip open the battery to connect it. There's no real information on how to remove the cover, but it's not just a cover, it's more of a box - it slides down in and around the battery, so removal takes a bit of time, you just have to work with a couple of small screwdrivers around the edges and it comes out, doesn't look like much effort or trouble. As for the counter, everything is fine! --- I've tested it on several NBS's in my work and it's as accurate as any other gauge! The other cool thing is that it has its own photocell as the room or place you are working changes the brightness! For myself Bluetooth is key - so many times I've had to turn the power on or off where my meter is - or even make some adjustments on the ground but the meter is on a pole somewhere - with Bluetooth it allows me to be in 20 Make real-time foot adjustments and see what my meter sees - no need to walk back and forth to check. Comes with a nice little case but considering I use so many different sensors I needed something bigger. Just make sure you read the manual carefully - for example how to check the battery, how and where your sensors should be connected to the meter.
