The cable was pulled straight out of the connector - replacing an incorrectly soldered

The cable was pulled straight out of the connector on the flash drive. I didn't notice until I reattached it and started routing the straps along the steering column. If you've ever made one of these replacements, you know how time-consuming and frustrating it can be, so you don't want to finish it only to find Chinese quality ruined your day. It's very cheap for some reason. Who cares that it's a lifetime warranty if it still means I have to go through the trouble of getting a replacement? I was lucky enough to see the wire being pulled before I went too far. The replacement came 2 days after I requested it from Revain. I installed it and immediately realized that it wasn't working properly. The hazard warning switch turned on the wipers and washer pump. The turn signals didn't work at all, and when the brake pedal was pressed, the turn signals on the dashboard were constantly lit. He pulled out the original part and started checking the wiring behind the pin to that Chinese crap. It is not connected like the original. I am returning this one as faulty and NOW I see that there is a disclaimer stating that while my year and make are listed as correct, Silverado and Sierra are excluded. Revain tricked me into saying it was compatible. The first bad detail is bad for this seller. The second unfortunate part is bad for Revain because it's compatible. And I feel bad that I trust the Chinese part. Heading to the parts store for a genuine ACDelco to know it's right and I don't have to do it again. The delays I've had are more than enough to make me pay 2x or 3x for a part of known good quality.
