Review on Viatti Bosco AT V-237 215/65 R16 98H summer by Micha Niemczyk ᠌

I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

I bought this tire 215/65/R16 for a Chevrolet Niva in the spring of 2022. Departed summer season 2022. When driving through some sections of the city, where the asphalt is crushed by heavy trucks, the car drives strongly - it takes effort to keep it on course. After the rain in the village, I checked the tires while driving on wet clay and black soil (not arable land, not a rut - in dry weather, a well-packed surface). The car was thrown worse than on ice. The problem was solved by riding on the "ponizhayka". When driving on the highway, I did not notice anything impressive. The car's handling is C-grade (it doesn't let you relax - you have to constantly taxi up and catch the road, especially on "broken" asphalt with patches). Also on the strasse got into a heavy downpour. The speed was about 90 km/h. I won’t say that I caught aquaplaning - the car went relatively smoothly, but the problems with steering, of course, did not go away. So, in general, there are no special problems with water disposal. At first I thought that the problem was in the disks, because. there were narrow wheels from Niva 2121 (J5) or in the state of a running car (although all maintenance is done on time, including even wheel alignment, the car does not participate in off-road rides). However, after the winter of 2022-2022 and driving on winter tires (I won’t say the brand so that there is no advertising), it became obvious that the problem was still in the rubber (I installed this rubber on J6.5 wheels in the new season and compared it as a result controllability with winter). According to subjective feelings, after replacing winter tires with summer (given) tires in the spring of 2022, it became much less comfortable to ride (in winter on ice, I didn’t strain with control as much as in summer on this rubber). So the bottom line: I don't recommend it. The rubber is tough and, in my opinion, equally unfortunate both on the track and off-road.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Rigid. Poorly keeps track on dry (!) Asphalt, even at low speeds. At higher speeds, it requires steering even on smooth pavement. On wet clay and black soil, the tread becomes clogged and the car becomes uncontrollable even at low (10-15 km / h) speeds.
