ideal for vacuuming fine dust

This is an amazingly unique vacuum cleaner. Tons of features. Probably more features than most need or want in a vacuum. The 3-stage filter including optional water filtration catches almost everything that is sucked into the machine. Ideal for sanding drywall and bodywork. While I've used a water filter before (even made my own), I've never seen it built into a consumer store vacuum like this. Certainly not at this price. The most limiting aspect of this vacuum is probably the hoses. They are small in diameter compared to most shop vacuums and severely limit what you can vacuum without risking clogs. Basically it's a vacuum for dust and small dirt, not a reliable vacuum for cleaning anything. Oh, and it can collect water too. Another problem with hoses is that they use a proprietary connector and don't play well with many tool dust collection connectors and other connectors. But it's not uncommon to find yourself mixing and matching vacuum cleaner accessories - expect to spend time, and possibly more money, customizing vacuum cleaner hoses to suit your needs. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an adjustable motor speed. Good for hand sanders that don't really need all the power of a vacuum to pick up dust - you'll see better performance in many cases. Reducing the RPM of the motor also reduces power draw, thus making up for the limited current available through the auto on-off feature, although most grinders don't draw more than a few amps anyway, so the total amps for the tool should be do not exceed 13 amps. (the vacuum cleaner draws 10A) should be simple enough. Personally, I don't use any pneumatic tools that require dust extraction, so I'm unfamiliar with the pneumatic auto-shift and fancy 2-in-1 hose (although I've tested it and it works). It's not a problem, but I wouldn't put them in my ideal vacuum. I like the electric beeper as this vacuum is my first choice when using handheld power tools that generate dust/shavings when working in the shop or in the driveway. It's not perfect/doesn't work on large machines like table saws, planers, planers, etc. The instructions are poor, but it's not that hard to figure out how to use them. The seller's product demo video gives a better idea of how to use and configure the vacuum. To be honest I'd like to give it five stars as I'm really impressed with the 3 stage filtration. However, it can be difficult to obtain replacement filters. I asked the seller where to get more and in response I said they could send me a replacement directly from the factory in China. Still, they offer two reusable first-stage filter bags and the third-stage HEPA filter looks like it could be washed for longer life.
