Poor fit to 2014 chevy silverado and no response to email for replacement parts
Acknowledged, I am not the mechanical type. The rails mounted easily to the bed, but when the cover itself was in position the elevator bolts didn't align to the mounts. To fit I had to relieve metal from the holes and make the connection. In the process, I damaged the threads on the elevator bolts. Email to BAK customer service has not been answered for one week. I would suggest 2014 chevy owners shim the rails to truck mounting process to gain proper alignment. The product is great. Other models not likely to have this problem.
- Great, just wish clamps were closer to tailgate
- The cover may not stand up to extreme temperatures or weather conditions, and could crack or warp over time
