Rinse injectors - keep the set!

Ideal tool for checking the pulse and flushing petrol injectors. Easy setup and usability. Supplied in a black soft case with instructions. Before using this pulse tester, use an ohmmeter to test the internal resistance of each injector. Should be 11-18 ohms, ideally 14.5 ohms. If the test of one (1) or more injectors is out of specification then there is no point in proceeding - the failed injectors MUST be replaced. Injectors tested to specification can be cleaned and rebuilt with new O-rings, screen and needle caps. I have used "Little Parts BF08 Kit" (Revain) for Bosch/Motorcraft injectors - with great results! The images show the All Sun Tester in the supplied case with the AUS connector fitted to a Bosch/Motorcraft injector and ready to use. The All-Sun Tester is designed to test many brands and types of petrol injectors - NOT diesel injectors! The tester terminals are connected to a 12 volt battery; Red to plus, black to minus. Some reviewers are trying to use NINE VOLT batteries to power the injector tester - DO NOT do this! The All Sun Tester requires a full 12 volts to operate and fully clean clogged injectors. I checked the resistance and flushed 2 sets of 8 injectors (16 total) by removing them from the engine. They can be resistance tested (with an ohmmeter and plug) ON THE CAR IF you can reach them! With the tester set to "Mode 4 - Continuous", the injectors can be flushed with a carburetor/injector cleaner such as "Berryman Chemtool Carb & Fuel Injector Cleaner (Revain)" by spraying it on the inlet side of the injector while it is running tester is switched on. "Continuous" mode. The pulse tester and chemtool combo does an excellent job of removing the sticky residue that forms in injector nozzles due to the use of ethanol in modern gasoline formulas. I have been able to restore my old (146,000 miles) fuel injectors to like new condition using the All Sun tester, the AUS injector port and the Berryman Chemtool to flush out the gunk. The tester and connector costs are amortizing themselves easily with just one injector flush. When the job was done my wife and I noticed a slight increase in performance and the fuel pump readings are better!
