Good price for an accurate diagnosis.

For the money you are paying this is a fantastic diagnostic tool for your toolbox. I'm a certified master technician and this is an essential tool for some of the tests I have to do on a weekly basis. Quality: Not as good as your branded snap-on, Mac, or OTC tools, but the functionality is there. . You can tell it feels like cheap plastic. but the price is right. Function: Exactly as described. I checked the pulse width modulation output with an oscilloscope. It matches the display and is…

WELL DONE AND WHEN YOU NEED IT

I thought this review unit was well designed. I have seen others that are smaller and for me this one had the best design. When it gets down to business, you don't need a 12-volt connection or a tester! But doing the right test with a tester is much easier. It depends on the impulse switch. There are others that take a 9 volt battery and some wires and plug it into the nozzle port and when they open they take a can of aerosol cleaner and clean it. It will not clean the inside of the injector…

Works as expected, good way to save money on injectors

Product works as described and is good value. runs better now. The injectors cost over $100 each so I saved a lot of money. There are many videos showing people connecting atomizers directly to the battery, which I think will weaken the solenoid if left on for too long. With this tool you can check the pulsation of the solenoid and also open it to allow the spray to flow through. The only downside is that the plastic body starts to melt on contact with the carburetor. Cleanser. I accidentally…

Great DIY tool

I was looking for a way to test the injectors on my '99 Vortec 454. The ones I bought off eBay seemed like a good deal, but after installing them I still got two dropouts and wanted to eliminate them as the cause. After a little research I came across this device. The low price made me think twice, but after unpacking it seemed well made and stable. Operation is simple, all you need are injectors, a 12v power supply and some type of liquid (preferably carburetor cleaner, injector cleaner…

Only fits VW 2009 EOS 2.0L TSI Injectors

Note on the electrical connection at the injector: I found that I could use two small alligator clips to grab the tiny connectors by clipping one side of the type clip placed "crocodile" inside the plug (side) and the other side outside the plug. This worked on one out of four injectors. It worked for part no. VW 06H906036P but not for VW 06H906036E and Bosch 06H906036AB. This makes a clicking noise, but it is pressurized fuel from the throttle body and air intake cleaner (outside the vehicle).

  • Great design

  • Almost never

Rinse injectors - keep the set!

Ideal tool for checking the pulse and flushing petrol injectors. Easy setup and usability. Supplied in a black soft case with instructions. Before using this pulse tester, use an ohmmeter to test the internal resistance of each injector. Should be 11-18 ohms, ideally 14.5 ohms. If the test of one (1) or more injectors is out of specification then there is no point in proceeding - the failed injectors MUST be replaced. Injectors tested to specification can be cleaned and rebuilt with new…
