I got tired of rubbing oil/wax on cutting boards with a rag - it seemed so messy and I always had to clean the rag and found it took a lot of work . This is MUCH better, spreads the material out well and will probably be good for a similar surface polishing application. Instead of cleaning it, I leave it in a ziplock bag and just take it out the next time I want to do it. Work. I had to start by wrapping the pen in a paper towel otherwise it got very greasy during storage. Anyway, if you want to dress up your Karate Kid and do some oil/wax/polish/etc. this is your thing.
