Very fragile. I assume that the plastic fasteners will break sooner or later. Especially the locking function. This is the weak part which I can't imagine withstanding the hands of different users. Too much force and I foresee it breaking. If it takes a few years I will change my rating. The magnetic part does nothing. I regret not buying a more durable standard can opener. Update: I re-read the 1 star reviews. .Everything they mention is true. I am also overwhelmed by the great reviews. Do people get paid for positive marketing reviews? I bought this product based on these reviews. I have decided to write a review to give others the opportunity to get an honest assessment. Again, if this continues to work, I'll change my review.
