Opener on the right. What's wrong with a can opener. Works well for some banks. On others it didn't work and slipped when the handle was rotated and lifted to prevent the blade from cutting through the can. It took a lot of attempts to open a can. How can this get such a high rating I don't understand. Our old junk lived for many years, and since my wife is mostly into legumes (soups, chili, salads, etc.), we opened cans almost every day. So when it finally wears out, I figured it looks like a good "high tech" option. Boy was I wrong. Disappointed to find this can opener worth what it is and great Zyliss brand, it doesn't work every time. I think that's a little ridiculous. After almost 4 months of use I can say this is without a doubt the best can opener I have ever owned including various electric can openers like Well.
