How can this get such a high rating I don't understand. Our old junk lived for many years, and since my wife is mostly into legumes (soups, chili, salads, etc.), we opened cans almost every day. So when it finally wears out, I figured it looks like a good "high tech" option. Boy was I wrong. It worked fine for about three months, maybe five, but I think because it's molded plastic it's lost the ability to properly track the edge of the can more than 1/8 of a turn. Then once it "jumps the track" it warps the edge of the can at that point so you can't run it again. So you start with something different and end up with a "dotted line" result. Nice useless garbage.
