Weak glow and not smooth spool

So I bought this to play around with and see the new glow in the dark filaments. At first I printed it with no problems. Adhesion was ok. I've had some grinding issues because judging by the texture of the filament on the spool it looks like it's already been overwetted (has such a rough texture as if it's been sitting for a while). The spool also has a wavy chain connected to filament that has been reheated at home to try to remove excess moisture. I hope it was just my coil and not the norm. Let's get to the properties of glow! I printed a copy of the pattern I printed using another filament (which is no longer made) and left both together in the sun for about 5 minutes. Then I took them to the closet to compare photos. I was expecting this print to be less vibrant than the other, but not as much. The Amolene thread is the imprint on the left. basically does not light up. How long the glow lasts โ€“ when I use UV light the glow is BRIGHT for about five minutes and then rapidly diminishes over the next ten minutes and holds a noticeable but non-luminous charge for the next half hour and then slowly muted celebration for the next few hours.

Pros
  • GIFT FOR KIDS - When the filament is not glowing, it looks white and transparent, which is very suitable for drawing. Your child can color it in any color. It will stimulate children's imagination, creativity and hands-on ability. AMOLEN Glow Pla Filament is a great gift for kids.
