Review on Pioneer CD Digital Music Player - Classic Edition by Robert Kimble

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Top head unit for the price!

I bought this to fit my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. Installation was fairly easy and I would say standard for aftermarket radios. I haven't used the manual much except to indicate the color of the wiring. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it's great! I like the bluetooth function; Main reason why I bought the radio. Every time I get in my jeep, it automatically connects to my phone, turns it on, and plays the music from where I left off the last time I got in the jeep. I installed the microphone on the steering column and tucked the wire behind it. instrument panel. I like the BT phone function because I get a lot of business calls when I'm on the go. All I have to do is press the phone button on the radio and it will pause my music and connect my phone call through the car speakers. I've asked people how I sound and they said they can tell I'm speaking on speakerphone but they can hear me normally. I like the fact that there is a USB port on the front to charge your phone or maybe play music from a USB stick. Haven't tried the CD player yet as CDs are obsolete and everything has gone digital but I would say it works well. display very difficult to read; I wish they would put some kind of coating on the lens to reduce flare. I didn't try to turn the display brightness all the way up as I didn't want it to be too bright at night. Camaro just because the current radio doesn't have Bluetooth or a USB port. If that's the price range you're willing to spend on a good head unit, feel free to get one. this is a great buy for the dollar!
