Make sure you know the thickness of the materials you're collecting.

Perfect fit for my project. (skin to skin and skin to thin metal) Did it as someone mentioned and put some nail polish on the steps before assembly to keep the screw in place. If you use them for the right thickness of material I don't see how they can't work for you.
