It just worked, plain and simple. I installed it, started the computer and Windows 10 recognized it and installed it with no hassle. I didn't have to download or install any drivers. This was used to connect a datamax label printer that only had a parallel port - to a new machine that did not have a parallel port. By the way, the key that was needed for the printer to work with the installed software was recognized by the card and also worked perfectly. Highly recommend rather than messing around with a USB to parallel adapter cable or other type of cable and messing with the manufacturer's drivers. I've found these cards to work about 90% of the time and the adapter cables about 30% of the time.
