I don't like carrying scissors because they can snag my knitting work in my bag, and even my bag sometimes, but I hate having to open a case or use both hands to pull off a safety cover. These are PERFECT. They are just big enough that I can get a hand on them in the pocket of my project bag, and with that same hand I can open them, use them, and close them back up. Cut paper fine, but I notice that to cut yarn, I have to push them out just enough for them to open a little bit. If I push them open all the way, the blades don't seem tight enough to each other. I'll probably try sharpening them, but other than that they are great little scissors. They sent me the wrong color, but I only even "picked" a color because it had the fastest shipping, so no biggie.
