ACDelco A3147C Professional Air Filter This is an OEM replacement air filter for the 2012 Cadillac SRX. This. it's identical to what GM puts on a new car. If you have never done this, on the SRX: - Looking at the engine compartment from the top of the hood, the air box is on the left. - Loosen the stainless steel clamp around the 4" rubber air hose and loosen the hose. - Loosen the three clamps holding the top halves of the air can together. - Take off the top half of the air can and fold it to the side, with it out of the way - remove the filter and the dirty filter - vacuum any debris from the bottom of the air chamber - insert the new filter, orienting it in the same way as the old filter - press the edges of the filter firmly on all sides, especially the side furthest from the engine removed (opening three slots to allow the top of the airbox to slide through). - Insert the three slots on the top of the airbox into the three intake holes in the airbox. at the bottom and press everything down - the two halves should fit perfectly. - Push the rubber hose all the way in and tighten the clamp. - Congratulate yourself on making it yourself. My Cadillac dealer charged $125 for an engine filter change!
