Review on Upgrade Your Mazda MX-5 Miata With CravenSpeed'S USA-Made Door Bushings by Brett Zhu

I bought a new 2020 MX5 RF GT in the spring of 2020. It's my first Miata and my first convertible, and I noticed pretty quickly that the car has more shake and shimmy than I'm used to. With less than 1,000 miles on the car, I bought these CravenSpeed door bushings.Install was very easy, two screws for each bushing. Finger tighten the screws just enough so that you can still move the bushing a little, open and close the door a few times, then tighten them down.I don't notice a big difference in the rigidity of my car, it still jostles and jiggles over bumps. There may be a slight improvement I guess. To be fair, my car didn't have a big problem before I installed these, you may notice a more drastic improvement on a higher mileage car. These do seem to be a bit expensive for what they are, although I realize there's some development cost to recover when you're making a niche product like this.This next part is purely subjective, but it's worth deducting a star in my opinion. I cringe every time I see these, they look terrible. The color is very juvenile. These would visually clash against most colors, especially Mazda's current color palette. This draws attention to a part of the car that you're not trying to draw attention to, and there would be very few colors that these would look good against. These might look good if your car is pure black, or white, or exactly the right color of red. CravenSpeed, why not just make these black? After considering other vendors' (black) door bushings with less positive reviews, I decided to prioritize function over form and buy these. But dang, I wish they didn't look so silly.
