Review on 🔧 Dependable Standard Motor Products PS308T Oil Pressure Switch: Ensuring Optimal Performance for Your Engine by Joshua Morales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2006 Tahoe Fixed oil pressure gauge on dash.

The sensor is not made of brass but aluminum but it works. Is there cheaper to find. • Fixed the 2006 Tahoe dash oil pressure gauge to read correctly (40-45) at idle. • The gauge on the dashboard was 0 psi or 80 psi, now it's fine. • Installation sucks, not easy but worth it. . Watch your knees, use knee pads, a foam board and gloves. If you have big hands, I'm sorry. • Requires 27mm long socket or 1-1/16 long socket, U-connector and extension. (YouTube it) • The sensor is behind the engine block next to the wall. To gain access, remove the Vortec's 8mm plastic cover, then remove the three 10mm screws that secure the rectangular panel that the Vortec cover snaps onto.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
