We recently installed vinyl plank floors and needed mats to catch dirt. You must be careful with the backing as some carpets can stain the vinyl plank. These vinyl based rugs are safe on vinyl floors and we haven't had any issues after a few months of use. They are heavy enough not to slip. They are great at catching dirt from your shoes as you enter the house. They seem to do well with vacuuming. The only downside is that there may be color differences when purchasing multiple rugs. We ordered two brown rugs in different sizes and they are definitely different colors. However, the mats are far enough apart that this is not a problem for us. Be sure to follow the directions, set the box aside and allow the rug to acclimate to the temperature of your home. This will ensure they are level. Do not store the box on its side. Would definitely buy them again.
