Review on 🐶 Dean and Tyler Medium Leather Bite Tug - 12-Inch by 4-Inch Size, High-Quality Training Gear by Amber Davis

I bought this as a tug for my Wire Fox Terrier who can destroy almost any toy in a jiffy. So far this works quite well. In fact, he prefers to tug at the yellow "handles" than the leather case itself. As another reviewer noted, it's quite full. I also have the unpadded version (12" x 2"), but it's hard and not chewable. I spoke to Dean and Tyler and they confirmed that all materials are non-toxic and the filling is primarily cotton material. Since the leather is such good quality (much better than other "leather" tugs sold by regular pet dealers) I'll try to put the squeaker in cotton padding. I have a friend who has a heavy duty sewing machine and can alter it. Update 04/01/2015: As I said, I installed two seemingly "high-quality" (if any) tweeters in my recording. They lasted about 10 minutes! So a good leather body didn't help. But it's still a great tug. A year later, my dog was able to start shredding one of the yellow handles, but the local shoemaker shortened it and re-stitched it. It's still in good condition but I'm ready to order a second one.
