This worked great on my 2013 Escape Titanium. I had a few questions, one of which was that it shows a different key stub than Escape uses. You can use your old flat key blank, it fits perfectly in the new case. Second, if your old back half of the case is fine, you don't need to transfer the metal battery contact. The original Ford body and the new body halves are interchangeable. All I did was separate the new case and old case, remove the electronic circuit board, fit it into the new front case, open the new battery in the old back case, and connect the old and new halves together . I put the original emergency key in the case and a new key fob that works great.
