Vendor ID on these discs is MCC 03RG20. That means Mitsubishi made them. Mitsubishi makes some of the best optical media on the market. Since these are DataLifePlus drives, that means they are made by Mitsubishi and NOT CMC, the worst optics manufacturer. Verbatim seems content to tarnish some of its good name by going to bed with CMC as they continue to outsource more of their media to them. All Life Series DVDs or CDs except DataLifePlus are CMCs. Verbatim discontinued its own BD-RE discs and turned them over to CMC. If I remember correctly MCC 03RG20 is the same MID on DVD-R Verbatim LightScribe. I've been using it for 3 years without a single stand. They play great on the Playstation 3 and read my LG and Pioneer Blu-ray drives just fine. I haven't tested these discs yet, but don't expect any problems. However, as these are Verbatim inkjet printers, they may not light up properly in my Pioneer. Verbatim MKM DVD+R DL inkjet discs for 2nd layer recording in Pioneer, although Verbatim branded DVD+R DL discs without jet write at the same speed and MKM MID on Pioneer without any problems. EDIT 2/12/2015: I burned one of these discs on my Pioneer and it burned, tested and played fine on my PS3. Probably the dual layer nature of MKM discs is a problem in my Pioneer for some reason.
