Replacement key fob works just as well as a factory key. It's a pity that there were no instructions for opening the factory key that was glued on. I had to use a bench grinder to cut away the glued seams to remove the control board for use in the new key fob. Since I have power tools, I was able to upgrade to a new key fob. The locksmith asked for $80 just to shorten the key, so I knocked out the stamp and used the same key. Replacing a key fob takes a lot of work, but if you can do the job, it's worth the purchase.
