Nice and big suitable for knitting and crocheting
The shell is as nice as the picture but it was bigger than I expected. The wood in the swivel is a bit rougher than we would like. Looks like they didn't finish the vortex area enough. I can try sanding a bit so I don't have to worry about the yarn getting bumpy and/or add some polyurethane to smooth it out. I'm also having trouble keeping the yarn in the swirl. Basically, I like it because I don't have to deal with a ball of yarn rolling around everywhere.
