Drilling in reinforced concrete such as foundations requires a professional tool. When I have a really tough job I use the best available nozzle that BOSCH usually makes. This is an SDS-MAX rotary hammer with a 1/2" x 13" shank and carbide tip. Pics 1 and 2 show the bits, side 3 is a solid 4-point TC bit (not just carbide blades), and side 4 is my SDS-Plus chisel above versus this SDS-MAX chisel. The Bosch designed SDS-MAX uses an 18mm shank with additional slots to hold the drill bit in the large SDS-MAX impact drill. The SDS-PLUS has a 12mm shaft. I don't have SDS-MAX tool to install it but knowing the top quality I always get from BOSCH I can easily recommend it with 5 stars. I recommend this BOSCH HCFC5010 1/2 inch x 8 inch. x 13 inches. Rotary hammer SDS-max SpeedXtreme. Other sizes are available from Revain Bosch. I hope you found the information and my review helpful.
