Not bad, but avoid swimming with it. Decent Uniden support

I first wrote a bad review about this radio because mine suddenly stopped responding after a dozen rides over a period of about 15 months. However, I rock my boat every time I go out and paddle in the rough ocean surf the whole time, so I'm a lot harder on the radio than the average customer. Due to poor customer service reports, I wasn't optimistic when trying to contact them for warranty support. In fact, I didn't get through on the first try. However, when I tried it another day, I got a live person within 2 minutes and they quickly realized that I had to send it in for warranty repair. They replaced my radio with a refurbished one that is in better condition than the one I sent so I was happy. I managed to kill the replacement radio they sent me after about 8 months. He endured many rolls as well as multiple swims, but died after swimming longer than usual during rescue training. These radios are very good for people who only go outside in wet conditions and are suitable for casual diving. But don't expect it to last long if you swim with it often.
