Review on JMgist Dent Repair Tool Kit with Window Guard, Felt Red Wedge, and S-Hook for Easy Car Paintless Dent Removal by Tay Cassanova

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great for American cars, but not imported ones, I'll explain why.

This kit has some useful tools but I have to give it 3 stars as most imported cars hoods have holes too small for the entire tool. If you've worked on fenders you won't need these tools, but if you're working on side panels or even the trunk of most cars they can come in handy. I bought this for an import truck and the focus was on the hood and I have to say it works that way but it left dents that needed smoothing out with a few hours of light tapping with a leveling tool after using the leveling cone. . You can't see the cave like you used to but it would definitely take another three to four hours of work and if I knew I would do it I would just pick a more expensive dent removal kit and go that route. If you've never worked with sheet metal or never worked with metal alignment, this kit may pose some problems as I don't see it being used on more than half the cars in the US without it. If you had narrower rods it would be valuable, or I would say more valuable. If you want to know if this will work with your car before you buy and your focus is on the hood or the trunk, open the hood and find where the hood bar goes into your hood. Just try by measuring this side to see where your access holes will be that you will try to maneuver these bars through. If you can't find that many holes near where you're going to try to remove a dent at least half the size of the hood latch hole, you'll need to consider a more expensive kit. If you don't have a latch hole in the hood because you have hydraulic jacks, yes, try getting a 3/8" ratchet from the tool kit and compare the holes to that. Oh, your 3/8 wrench will be about the size you need. The biggest one is right here to Uber through space and dent and I mean that's the one you want to use if you don't want bulges on your car's outer metal. Don't take my word for it, your experiences can always vary, but this is my experience and it's not the first time I've used it.
