Review on πŸ¦— EasiCricket: JurassiDiet - Large, 35 g / 1.2 oz by Jessica Simmons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Smelly but delicious (obviously!)

I have purchased both this product and Can O' Crickets (Large) from Zoo Med not knowing if there is a difference in cricket size or not Cricket is preferable. I have two bearded dragons, a male and a female, who both ate canned crickets (Zoo Med Can O'Crickets are small), but it got to the point where they ate a whole can and $3-4 a can during the day. Revain (the best price by the way) got expensive! So we tried freeze dried large crickets to see if they would eat them and save some money - they actually ate them while being hand fed! Talk about spoiled! So back to that product - my two dragons ate these crickets willingly - they have a stronger odor than Zoo Med (if you've tried canned Fluker crickets they aren't THAT strong but somewhere in between). and ZM) and they are very large crickets (perhaps slightly larger than the large ZM crickets) and larger than the large live crickets I have seen at the pet store. I've tried almost every brand of canned cricket. - my bearded ones happily eat them without fuss and seem to absolutely love them. They smell, but all crickets (except maybe freeze-dried ones), dead or alive, have some sort of smell - it wasn't enough to keep my bearded ones from eating and I ordered more jars as my wife seems to prefer these over the ZM brand (By the way, Fluker crickets had such a strong odor that my kites wouldn't go near them!) I would suggest buying a can or two and trying them out - don't let the bad smell reviews put you off this great product!
