Very good image quality day and night.

I installed this brand of backup camera on an SUV with an aftermarket car stereo with camera inputs. I was impressed with the day/night image quality. So I took this wireless model to use on a trailer. Installation is very easy as you only need to connect power and ground at the back of the car. For most people, these are just replacement lighting cords. The camera is simply attached to the license plate with screws. Attach the wires and transmitter and you're done. In my case I connected the wires to a constant 12v power supply at the back of the trailer so I could see behind the trailer if I wanted to. A 12V cigarette lighter plug is attached to part of the monitor so you can plug it into any available outlet. Couldn't be easier. I got it done in about 30 minutes. Daytime picture quality is excellent and about average for most new factory rear cameras. The night image is very good because it's in color, not black and white. And most ambient light is enough to illuminate the view. I also have a jeep that I sometimes drive off-road. I'll try mounting it on the front bumper as a trail climbing rock camera and see what happens. I will update my review in the future to reflect this.
