First of all this is my first gas cylinder but not the first time I have used one. As a chemist and certified diver, I have used quite a few battered old steel cylinders filled with various gases. This tank puts all the others to shame. The shiny brushed aluminum cylinder is perfect for my fully planted aquarium. My tank came with a two month Hydrodata that came with the required dots and a plastic mesh sleeve covering the outside. The only thing missing from this cylinder is a standard hazard label with a pictogram alerting users that this is a gas cylinder containing pressurized, non-flammable carbon dioxide. Some places require these labels before filling your tanks. Upon receipt, I immediately took it to my local fire extinguisher supplier and refilled it for about $13. There were no problems with the tank. In terms of build quality and price, it's perfect. The only thing that confuses me is the plastic valve handle (mine is black instead of silver as shown in the picture). I'm used to the metal grips that usually come with large gas tanks. However, this can be exchanged in the future if necessary, but by then the hydraulics will be ready and I will probably only have the tank exchanged at the local gas supplier. Overall I'd rate this as a good buy whether you're topping it up or replacing it to top up your charcoal. I called everyone and had my local gas/welding suppliers appraise the tanks and they all quoted me $85 or more for a used tank. you do the math
