Tank Aluminum Cylinder CGA320 Valve Review

The tank was delivered on time and conforms to the product description. The problem is that the tank was made in January 2014. This means there are only 21 months left until the tank is hydro tested. Over 62% of life was wasted. Bottom line, I won't buy again.

I ordered this tank after seeing photos that clearly show the Kegco name and logo on the tank. No logo or other identifying information was present when received. I emailed Kegco with a picture of the tank and they said it was not a real tank, Luxfer was not affiliated with Kegco and Luxfer was not allowed to use Kegco's name or logo. I will return this tank.

Seems to be a good enough CO2 tank. But beware, almost nobody will fill a new tank. Welding shops and such swap tanks, so you take your shiny new tank and go home with a used tank without ever using a new one. However, not everything is so bad, a new (used) tank locally costs $80 and a refill $20. So for $60 I didn't lose anything by buying this online, but I didn't gain anything by skipping the step and going to the store either.

Looks like a decent bottle. It came like a box within a box. As many reviews say, this CO2 tank no longer has a metal handle. Now it's black plastic. It doesn't matter to me because it's still durable and not visible when in use (well it will be invisible when not in use too). Excellent quality tank. I don't know why anyone would buy a new cylinder and then have the gas supplier exchange it for a used one. The exchange takes place against used or rented tanks. The picture on this page does not match what I received. it shines brightly from top to bottom. to look good! the date is slightly less than perfect.
