I don't know why anyone would buy a new cylinder and then have the gas supplier exchange it for a used one. The exchange takes place against used or rented tanks. Although the description says 'new', judging by some photos posted by people who have bought it before, I was expecting to receive a 'refurbished new' tank. I've decided to take a chance and if I come across any evil tank I'll send it back as it's false advertising. Luckily I have what looks like a freshly made tank tagged with flip flops. Any welding supplies store can restock them for you, but some can't do this locally so you'll have to exit and come back. They charged me $25 and the place I went to took about a week until we called them to ask what was going on and found out someone had "lost" our order which resulted in, that it took longer than the originally stated 2-3 days. That's why I'll probably buy a second tank so that I always have at least one that is functional and refill the second one if necessary. The tank is nice and shiny so I kept the case that came with it so it doesn't get bumped. I especially like that these tanks are made in the USA.
