Review on Educator Quick-Release Transmitter Holder: Convenient Accessory for Remote Dog Training Collars by Nicole Hunter

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not recommended - second update

When I used it the second time the screw fell out and I lost the piece holding everything together. I've seen others mention this issue, but decided to take a chance. Bad idea. Other reviews also mentioned that the device broke and I could see this happening as soon as the device was clinging to something. Two stars because it didn't cost $10 to use twice. More than one star because it's a smart and useful product and if it holds together it would definitely be worth it. [latest update: I've ordered this twice and both times it was done on the first or second use for two different reasons - except for one star as while it's a great idea it's not well designed and quickly becomes a waste of money ] First update A : I contacted the seller to see if they could send me a small piece of plastic that I lost when the screw came out. They couldn't but instead offered to return my purchase. Fairly reliable customer service, but this review is for the product. I will re-order this time and use thread lock as some others have mentioned. If it works I will come back to add another star. You don't have to buy and use screw lock to avoid the problem, but when it works, the holder is very useful. Second update: On first use, the Educator jumped right out of its mount and fell to the ground. Guess what? A piece of plastic broke! So I ordered twice and both times the product became unusable on the first or second use. It's a great idea, but you'll quickly throw it away (broken or lost) or order another one.
