I have a 125 liter freshwater aquarium. I'm also growing, so I have a basic API test suite. I just checked the tap water and apex water filters. Both showed roughly the same pH around 7.5. Truth? When I do a water change for my aquarium using tap water, I add water conditioner and the pH is around 6-6.5. but only now do I understand that the water entering my plants is over 7 (no wonder why all the deficits). Obviously these filters are not doing their job.
