Review on 🚗 Enhanced Protection: Chrome Car Door Edge Guard Trim (12 Feet, Full Size U Shape) by Jason Adams

Wrong item originally sent (chrome ordered, received clean). Had to provide photos to prove this before the correct item was shipped. It looks great on my new car and is easy to cut and install. Just measure the length before doing this and make sure you have enough and also make sure it is the same for each side. I noticed that the layers on the driver's side have given way a bit, allowing a few inches of water to sit in them. I hope it doesn't deteriorate further and eventually cause the finish to fail completely. If so, I'll just delete everything. It looks the same as the factory installed trim except I didn't remove it all the way from under the rear doors like the factory does. I personally think the factory version looks gaudy and out of place; So solo work was definitely an option. All in all the installation took about 20 minutes including measuring, cutting and installing. I recommend using string or tape measure so you can follow the curves of the door. Don't try to use a standard tape measure or you won't get the right measurements. UPDATE 7/1/17: In the last 5 months or so, parts of the chrome paint have started to peel off; but it's quite small and only noticeable up close. One of the doors has lost its stick a bit but this is the door my 4 girls use the most. They most likely gave it a pretty rough tug as they closed the door. Overall it was a pretty good product for the price. I just have to reattach it every few months or so. Adding glue or other glue may help. but it's not that far yet. For the price and style from 3 to 5 stars. Ignoring the error, they initially sent me the wrong product. I will most likely watch Honda put the fairing on their vans and apply it there themselves for 1/15th the cost. Looks great on my Toyota. Very satisfied. Update 6/2018: Things quickly went downhill. Severe peeling and flaking. Loss of adhesion in some places. Finally picked up. Now I give 2 stars. Initial quality is good but don't expect it to last long.
