🚗 Enhanced Protection: Chrome Car Door Edge Guard Trim (12 Feet, Full Size U Shape) Review

Looks good but had to order three for just one car. Each roll was missing about 12 feet. But it looks good and after a week only one area showed up.

Due to the extremely cold sub-zero weather conditions in Alaska, the adhesive separated and became so brittle that it just fell into pieces. Also, when received out of the box, there were creases in the radius zones. Overall not a bad product.

I was looking for 12 full feet of door edge protectors and they sent me a joint. How am I supposed to use this. Now I have to buy again to hopefully get enough to finish my truck. More than disappointed.

Easy to apply and good looking for about 18 months. The heat and sunshine of Southern California have taken their toll and you can see in the photo that the chrome foil is beginning to peel. The gray door edge protector does the job and still looks good, but the chrome one looks better.

I wonder if this is suitable for trimming a small honda gas tank. YES. it was perfect. Tight bends require slight heating. Warning! DO NOT HEAT WITH A HEATER GUN! Even at low settings, the power of the builder destroys chrome. Use a low speed hair dryer. It looks like the heat actually activated the adhesive, making installation easier. It comes in a rolled up bag but doesn't appear to have any effect on the finished product once installed.

I was a little nervous when it arrived and it was folded so tightly that I couldn't smooth it out and the edges were wavy. I used a hair dryer to heat it up before attaching it to the doors and then reheated it while it was on to get it securely in place. You can easily cut the desired lengths with a fabric measuring tape. The hardest part seemed to be getting started, but once you get that awful edge at the end of the strip, everything else goes pretty easy. Looks great. I can't say how long…

Excellent, simple replacement pad with easy application. This is necessary if you have children who like to open the door wide and fast. However, I have to deduct a star for the sticking problem at the end points. With strong pressure, the glue in the central part adheres perfectly to the body, with proper cleaning and drying of the contact points. Application was during temperature stabilization at 74°F. Wrong item originally sent (chrome ordered, received clean). Had to provide photos to prove this before the correct item was shipped. It looks great on my new car and is easy to cut and install. Just measure the length before doing this and make sure you have enough and also make sure it is the same for each side.
