Great Upgrade: Camper Van Parts & Accessories

I bought 4 of these to upgrade the 'hot lights' on the ceiling of my 2014 Jayco Fifth Wheel and I absolutely love them! Most LEDs are overly bright in terms of brightness, but that's certainly not the case, they're just as bright, if not slightly brighter, than incandescent bulbs. A typical RV 2 light with T10/921 bulbs draws 36W, this light with all 3 bulbs draws only 10W, if you only turn on 1 bulb that's only 3.3W. The only downside is that they have a need wire. The channels are shaped at the bottom so you don't have to mount the light to align the cord with the hole in the ceiling. Since there are no cable channels, the light is not flush mounted if you need to run cables between the light and the ceiling. I've had to do this on two of them and I can't say it's noticeable, but it's definitely something a manufacturer should consider for future changes. also sells 300 and 400 lumen bulbs. The lights are 19.75 inches long and 6 inches wide with the wires coming out the bottom of the light on the side where the switches are located. The color temperature quoted is 4000k-4500k, I would say this is accurate. The light is very pleasant, not at all glaring and not bluish.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
