I buy a pair of these boots every year as I have a weekend job that involves walking the sidewalk for over 8 hours a day. comfortable to stand/walk in spite of using the insoles all day, nbd. They're pretty waterproof until you actually soak them. I wear my soles from all this plaster. I always have 2 pairs of these: one for work, the other for jeans and casual wear. When a "good pair" wears out, it becomes a working pair and I buy new ones for everyday wear. But I order half a size smaller and they fit me perfectly. Sometime a few years ago they got big, maybe to accommodate thick socks? Definitely - if you know your size on this brand, well done. If not, order down. The reason for the 4 stars is the slightly darker color than usual. It's okay, but not the normal light color that I'm used to.
