I love these toys. We've bought 2 for our dogs. Our husky/lab had this toy before she passed away and could not put a dent in it (she destroyed most other toys). My rottweiler, however, inherited the toy after her passing and proceeded to shred it in a matter of a few weeks. We also have the "Mega Ring" that she's had for going on 3 years without destroying it. I would say be cautious of the long thin tenticles for breeds that like to "pick" at things. She had them torn apart very quickly. I've heard similar complaints from other rottie owners. That being said, I'd buy it again in a heart beat for the right dog! Unlike the Kong toys that I've never had a dog even care to play with, our dogs have spent hours chewing on these and dragging our kids around the living room in a game of Tug-of-War.
