About 3 years ago I bought some used OEM Chevy wheels off a 2015 Silverado to fit my 2012 model. The seller wasn't sure if they had TPMS sensors installed, but I took a chance. When I couldn't sync them to my truck I just assumed they weren't there or weren't compatible due to the model year difference. So, I drove with a yellow tire warning on the dash for 3 years. I needed new tires last week and while they were being changed I saw TPMS sensors in the wheels. I started looking for a way to get it working and found this cute little device. Unbelievable price and I was amazed that turning the sensors back on by simply bringing them to the valve stem on the wheel worked. I now get pressure readings for all 4 tires and have a tool to retrain the truck next tire change.
