I highly recommend spending the extra $100-$80 on a Rokinon or Samsyon 7.5mm f/2.8 fisheye lens lens that can actually be used (which Fisheye arguably should never be used for) but seriously. This lens is obviously just a toy to have fun with, as I would expect based on the price, but for $100 and sometimes even $80 more you can get a brand new fisheye from Rokinon that really does the trick. shell out $140+ for these Kens because you're not even getting photos that are acceptable as friend shots. All photos are basically useless. Nothing is in focus, not even entirely. Speaking of apertures, the aperture ring is silent and completely inaccurate. From f4 to f8 it can change by less than one level, and from f2.8 to f4 by one and a half levels. The craziest thing is from f11 to f16 (which is not marked) a sharp change when there are about 6 stops. If you set the manual focus and adjusted the focus, you will see when you cross the threshold and suddenly everything will increase dramatically, but there will be almost no light. 2"S. That's crazy. The only way to focus on something is to stop completely and then the whole image becomes soft but a little blurry. Close to the lens but it's not even close sharp, but it's better than soft, the mess you get when your hand is fully stopped down is in a lot of images as it's difficult to focus and steady the lens without getting your hand in the frame You have to support the lens as it doesn't fit snugly in the mount, the focus ring is wildly inaccurate too, anything below 1M will never be in focus, and then around 1M it jumps and sets things like 4 meters, you know the type of focus. It also jumps from 1M to infinity so basically the F ring ocus just stays at 1M and you adjust it towards infinity a bit which isn't really infinite focus. I get that it's cheap is, but it is also an ASP-C Manual focus lens so $150 is worth the price and for an ASPC manual focus lens. For the price you get a great manual focus lens. If you go to eBay you can get the best 50mm f1.8 lens you will ever need and have the cash left over to buy a second manual focus lens. Both lenses cost half as much, and the result is images you could actually use. Do not buy. This is the second chance I've given 7artisans because they get great reviews for Revain, but now I have no idea what people are talking about here. Two lenses from this company and each was inferior to the previous one. Do not buy this lens. If you want fisheye, buy Roquinone. You want to spend less money than buying a used lens on eBay or an unnamed lens I see on Revain, it should be better. The fisheye adapter that screws onto the front of any Fuji Prime lens is way better than this thing. Terribly useless lens.
