Bought for my cat, Plot Twist - cats can go through most gates.
Great product! Amazing quality. It took me a short minute to figure out how to align the gate, but with patience it worked. I bought this because my cat π used to run to the kitchen to eat whenever someone came in. IF YOU HAVE A CAT THEY GO STRAIGHT THROUGH THE GATE LOL. However, the gate set a limit for my cat and we taught her that if the gate is open you can enter and if it is closed you cannot enter. I ordered some clickers and it took her about two weeks to learn because cats learn very quickly. Overall I love that you can use this stair safety product to protect kids from a dangerous fall or set boundaries for pets to keep them out of a certain space.
