First, no dislikes. I was looking for an e-scooter over the past year for recreational riding and short market runs in Phoenix AZ. After comparative shopping, I decided on this scooter due to its price/value, 350w motor, lithium battery, product weight (I have a flight of stairs to my apartment), top speed and mileage.Building is fairly easy--it comes with most tools needed although a Phillips and socket wrench are needed as well.Fit and finish is good, assembly is easy, the seat is the most challenging part to install, but it is helpful when cruising. The scooter can be used without a cell phone, but one is needed to adjust certain things (default top speed is 13mph, it can be raised via a cell phone, but 13 mph I like since faster is challenging when I have to ride on sidewalks on busy main avenues.Starting is easy, you turn it on, put your finger on the accelerator button (I recommend slight pressure because it can accelerate from a standing stop faster than most cars), and you kick off.I practiced in a quiet parking lot, it was a good place to start, and in twenty minutes I was ready to take it on the open road. Once you hit top speed, cruise control kicks in with two beeps, although I always keep my right hand on the brake just in case a panic stop is required.Battery usage is spot on. I am an average sized man, six foot, 180#, and on a seven mile circuit, with one 15% 500 foot incline, I used just two bars of the battery, which has five LED indicators. The basic LED display is easy to read in the daylight. The scooter has front and back lights. It is said charging takes six hours, I was surprised though, having only charged it once after about 15 mph of use, that it went from one to five bars in just a few hours. This product seems to be a fast seller--I just purchased from ebay last week--with nine left, and it was sold out as of today for now, 3/6/2021.There are many scooters at twice the price that do the same thing this one does, just for $500 including tax and shipping.Last, the motor is whisper quiet, it does not sound stressed when I ride it, and at 13mph, with the breeze, I cannot hear it at all. I may or may not increase the speed, or braking and acceleration, I am happy with the defaults. On a 15 pct. grade, it did slow to about 5mph, so in hilly areas, it is less practical than say an electrified bike. The scooter does have a pull up locking mount in the back, if you want to lock it at a market. They also sell cheap wheel alarms for it as well, and others like it.
